At a Divine by Design seminar in California, a young man who had never attended church before was invited into the room.
The session was originally designed around identity, purpose, and seeing yourself through God’s lens. As the day unfolded, he was included, welcomed, and given space to belong.
The next morning, he returned to church and gave his life to Christ.
Moments like this remind me why formation work matters. A seminar may begin with leadership, identity, purpose, or emotional formation, but when the Holy Spirit is present, the room becomes a place of encounter, healing, and transformation.
