About Me
Taking theology, emotional stewardship, and Kingdom identity to leaders in the marketplace — that is where I do my best work.
This work did not begin in a classroom or training room.
It began in the places where I almost did not survive — and it found its fullest expression in the marketplace.
I’m a Practical Theologian, Leadership Formation Coach, and the Founder of Emotional Stewardship. For nearly a decade I’ve worked globally with high-capacity leaders, coaches, executives, and Kingdom builders who are accomplished by any external measure and quietly limited by what is happening on the inside.
My theological foundation is not incidental to my work. It is the backbone of it. I’m a researcher in Emotional Stewardship and Kingdom leadership formation, and this work is what I’m building my life’s contribution around.
PERSONAL STORY
This is not just theory.
This is my testimony.
For years, I appeared fearless. Promoted every 18 to 24 months. Succeeding in high-pressure environments. Known as the woman who got things done and who would dream it, then do it.
What no one could see was the internal architecture keeping that exterior intact.
I spent most of my 20’s and 30’s holding it all together in public, but falling apart in private. The exhausting discipline of being who everyone needed me to be while slowly losing sight of who I actually was, and who I was called to be.
That disconnect eventually cost me everything. I walked into relationships that harmed me. Built success that emptied me. Reached a point of despair that could have ended my story altogether.
It didn’t. And I don’t share that season for sympathy. I share it because every leader I work with is carrying some version of the same weight. The same gap between how they appear and how they actually feel. The same fear that being fully known would somehow diminish rather than strengthen them.
What I went through didn't qualify me to coach people. It taught me what no textbook could: that the inner life of a leader is not a footnote. It is everything.
CORPORATE FOUNDATION
Sixteen years building strategy. A decade building people.
Before coaching, I spent over 16 years in Legal Finance, leading global revenue strategies for some of the world’s largest law firms. I understand organisational dynamics, high-stakes decision-making, and the specific pressures of senior leadership. I’m not a theorist. I’ve sat in the rooms I help people prepare for.
That background makes my work distinctive. I don’t separate spiritual formation from professional performance. I hold them together as two expressions of the same thing: a leader who is formed on the inside will always outperform a leader who is only trained on the outside.
EMOTIONAL STEWARDSHIP
Why Emotional Stewardship, and why now.
Most leadership development teaches leaders to manage emotions or push past them. Emotional Intelligence went further but stopped short. It trained competence without forming character, and it left the work of the Spirit entirely out of the conversation.
Emotional Stewardship is my original contribution to leadership formation. It begins where other frameworks end. Emotions are not weaknesses to be controlled. They are entrusted capacities, rooted in the Imago Dei, disordered by the fall, and restored through the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.
How a leader governs their inner life determines, more than any skill or strategy, the quality of their leadership and the health of everything they build.
This is not coaching with theology added. It is a framework for cooperating with what the Spirit is already doing in the interior life of a leader.
Emotional Stewardship is a discipline in its own right. And it is the work I was formed to do.
MISSION
To raise leaders who are formed, not just trained.
Trained leaders have skills. Formed leaders have integrity. Formed leaders don’t collapse under pressure because their foundation was built at the level that pressure actually reaches.
My work spans the church and the marketplace because I believe the same formation is required in both. A leader who is not formed internally will eventually damage what they build, regardless of the arena.
