Confirmation Emails

Confirmation — Lead Magnet (Freebie)

Subject: Here is what you asked for — plus what comes next
Paste this into Stan Store › your freebie product › Advanced tab › Confirmation Email. Replace [First Name] with the first name personalisation tag your platform uses.
Hi [First Name], You are in. Here is your [name of lead magnet]: [DOWNLOAD LINK or PRODUCT LINK] Save it somewhere you will actually go back to. I mean that practically. Do not let it sit in your downloads folder untouched. What is inside is only useful if you use it. A little about what to expect from me now that you are here. I am JJ Clarke — Kingdom Business Strategist, Emotional Stewardship Coach, and Practical Theologian. I work with faith-driven leaders, coaches, and entrepreneurs who are building businesses rooted in their assignment rather than borrowed from someone else's blueprint. Over the next few days, I am going to be in touch with a short series of emails that I think you will find genuinely useful. Not filler. Not daily promotions. Actual content that speaks to where you are right now. If at any point you do not want to hear from me, you can unsubscribe at the bottom of any email. No hard feelings. I would rather you stay because it is valuable than because unsubscribing felt like too much effort. If one of my emails lands in your promotions or spam folder, please move it to your primary inbox so you do not miss what is coming. Speak soon. JJ

Confirmation — Paid Digital Product

Hi [First Name], You made a good call. Here is your [Product Name]: [DOWNLOAD LINK] A few things before you dive in. Start at the beginning, even if you are tempted to skip ahead. The framework builds on itself, and the people who get the most out of it are the ones who work through it in order rather than jumping to the parts that feel most urgent. If you have questions as you work through it, you are welcome to bring them to [KLA / your relevant community or support channel]. That is what it is there for. I am invested in your outcome. Not just in you having this resource, but in you actually using it and getting the result it is designed to give you. So if you get stuck or something does not land as clearly as it should, reach out. Welcome to the next step. JJ

Welcome Email Flow — 6 Emails

Email 1 — Delivery and Welcome

Delay: Immediate · Day 0
Subject: Here is your [lead magnet name] — and one thing to do first
Hi [First Name], Here is the [lead magnet name] you asked for: [LINK] Before you open it, one thing. Most people download resources like this, read them with good intentions, and then life happens and the file sits unopened for six weeks. I do not want that for you because what is inside genuinely works when you actually use it. So before you go any further, take two minutes right now and open it. Scroll through it. Get a sense of what is in there. You do not have to complete it today. Just do not let it become another thing in a folder. You will hear from me tomorrow. I want to tell you a bit about why I built this and the work I do, because I think it will give you context for how to use what you just downloaded. JJ

Email 2 — The Origin Story

Delay: 1 Day
Subject: Why I do this (the honest version)
Hi [First Name], I spent sixteen years in legal finance before I stepped into this work full-time. I led global revenue strategies for some of the world's largest law firms. I was good at it. I built teams, drove results, and operated at a level most people respected. And for a long time, I told myself that the disquiet I felt was just ambition looking for a bigger challenge. It was not ambition. It was assignment. What I know now, looking back, is that God was building something through every season that I thought was just a career. The commercial thinking, the leadership experience, the ability to see systems and strategies and people all at once. None of it was wasted. It was preparation. The work I do now is about helping Kingdom leaders, coaches, and entrepreneurs build businesses rooted in who they actually are rather than what the online business world told them they were supposed to be. Identity before strategy. Character before influence. Obedience before outcome. I am not interested in helping people build impressive businesses that leave them hollow. I am interested in helping people build Kingdom businesses that are structured, sustainable, and aligned with their actual calling. That is why [lead magnet name] exists. And it is why I am going to keep showing up in your inbox this week with things I think you actually need to hear. Talk soon. JJ

Email 3 — Teaching Email

Delay: 3 Days
Subject: The thing most coaches get backwards
This email contains a teaching specific to coaches building Kingdom businesses. You can use this as written or replace the teaching with one of your own frameworks that connects directly to your lead magnet topic.
Hi [First Name], Here is something I see consistently among coaches who are working hard but not yet seeing the results they expected. They are building their business from the outside in. They are thinking about their content strategy before they have clarity on their message. They are thinking about their offer structure before they have settled their identity. They are asking "what do I sell" before they have answered "who am I called to serve and why." The result is a business that looks put together on the surface but has no real foundation underneath. When it gets hard — and it will get hard — there is nothing to anchor to. The Kingdom model builds from the inside out. Identity first. You need to know who you are, not just what you do. Your calling, your story, your assignment, your authority. These are not soft extras. They are the foundation. Then message. What is the specific thing you are called to say? Who needs to hear it? What shift does it create in the people who receive it? Then offer. What is the vehicle through which you deliver that transformation? Then strategy. Now you choose the platforms and marketing approaches that fit the offer and the message. Most people start at strategy. Then wonder why nothing sticks. Start at identity. Build from there. This is the principle that sits at the heart of almost everything I teach, including [lead magnet name]. If you have not finished working through it yet, this is your sign to come back to it with that framework in mind. JJ

Email 4 — Social Proof / Client Story

Delay: 5 Days
Subject: What changed when she stopped trying to be ready
Replace the client story below with a real story from your own work. Change identifying details as needed. The structure — struggle, the shift, the specific result — is what makes it land.
Hi [First Name], One of the women I have worked with came to me at a point where she had been sitting on her coaching offer for eight months. She knew what she wanted to do. She had the knowledge, the experience, and the genuine desire to help people. But she kept finding reasons why she was not ready yet. She needed one more certification. She needed to fix her website first. She needed to wait until she had testimonials. She needed to feel more confident before she could put herself out there. Sound familiar? Here is what happened when we worked together. We stopped talking about her business and started talking about her. Her identity as a coach. Her authority in the room. The reason she specifically — not coaches in general — was qualified and called to do this work. Within six weeks of doing that identity work, she had her first two paying clients. Not because she had found the perfect marketing strategy. Because she had settled the question of who she was. The strategy did not change her results. The identity work did. That is the work I am most passionate about. It is also what I built [lead magnet name] to begin to address. Because you cannot build a sustainable coaching business on a foundation that is still asking "but who am I to do this?" You are the one God assigned to it. That is the answer. JJ

Email 5 — The Offer Email

Delay: 7 Days
Subject: If you are ready to go deeper
Replace [Product Name], [$Price], [what it is and does], [who it is for], [who it is not for], [bullet list of outcomes], and [Link] with your specific offer details.
Hi [First Name], This week I have shared some of what I believe about building Kingdom businesses and the foundations that actually make them work. If what I have shared has resonated with you, I want to offer you a clear next step. [Product Name] is [one sentence description of what it is and what it does]. It is for you if [describe the specific person this is for — be precise]. It is not for you if [describe who it is not for]. What you get: [Outcome-focused bullet 1] [Outcome-focused bullet 2] [Outcome-focused bullet 3] [Outcome-focused bullet 4] The investment is [$Price]. [Link to purchase] I am not going to pressure you. If this is the right next step for you at this point, you will know it. If it is not the right time, that is fine. Keep the emails. Come back when you are ready. If you do have questions before you decide, you are welcome to reply to this email. I read my replies. JJ

Email 6 — Follow-Up (Optional)

Delay: 9 Days
Subject: Just checking in
Hi [First Name], I sent you an email a couple of days ago about [Product Name]. If you saw it but were not ready to act on it, this is for you. I am not going to write another long pitch. If you read what I sent and it landed as relevant, the link is here: [LINK] If you read it and it did not feel right for where you are, I want to say something. That is okay. Not everything is for every season. Sometimes the timing is not there. Sometimes a different resource would serve you better at this point. If that is the case, reply and tell me where you are. I am happy to point you somewhere more useful. What I do not want is for you to stay stuck in the same place six months from now because you never found the thing that actually moved you forward. Whatever that thing is, whether it is what I have to offer or something else entirely, go and find it. JJ

Your Email Flow at a Glance

Use this as your reference when building the sequence inside Stan Store. Each email has a clear purpose. Do not skip stages. The sequence works because it builds trust before it presents an offer.

The 6-Email Sequence

Day 0 · Delivery Day 1 · Story Day 3 · Teaching Day 5 · Proof Day 7 · Offer Day 9 · Follow-Up
  • 1
    Email 1 — Delivery + Welcome (Day 0, Immediate)
Delivers the freebie. Sets tone. Tells them who you are in 2 sentences. Tells them what to expect. Keep it short. They want the download first.
  • 2
    Email 2 — Origin Story (Day 1-2)
Your story. Not your CV. Why you do this work. Be honest and specific. People connect with real stories, not polished bios. This is where trust begins.
  • 3
    Email 3 — Teaching Email (Day 3-4)
Give something valuable. A framework, a perspective shift, a specific strategy. This email says: I am not just here to sell. This is where you build credibility.
  • 4
Email 4 — Social Proof / Client Story (Day 5-6)
A real story. Specific. A client, a community member, a transformation you witnessed. Specific stories are credible. Vague claims are not.
  • 5
Email 5 — The Offer Email (Day 7-8)
After four emails of genuine service, the offer lands as a natural next step. Be direct. Name the offer. State the price. Include the link. No excessive preamble.
  • 6
    Email 6 — Follow-Up, Optional (Day 9-10)
For those who did not open or act on Email 5. Short. Acknowledges the hesitation. Reiterates the link. No pressure. Often generates conversions from people who needed one more nudge.

Writing Principles to Carry Into Every Email

  • Write to one person. Not your community, not your audience. One woman, one specific struggle.
  • Be specific rather than inspirational. Specific insight moves people. Vague encouragement does not.
  • Do not perform intimacy. Do not manufacture vulnerability. Real connection comes from real writing.
  • Lead with value before you ask for anything. The offer follows service. Always.
  • Give every email a clear next step. Not always a purchase. Sometimes it is to apply what was taught, to reply, to save the email. But every email should have direction.
  • Keep paragraphs short. Use line breaks generously. Plain text feels more personal than heavily designed templates. Write to be read, not to impress.
